America was justified in dropping the atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagaski because Japan had bombed them first without warning, dragging America into a war in which they wanted to remain neutral.

Although the aerial attack was very successful, the submarines failed to finish off any wounded ship inside the harbour. Eighteen U.S. ships were hit, and 1178 people were wounded. The Japanese attack force was under the command of Admiral Nagumo. The Japanese government ignore this ultimatum, in two nuclear devopled by the Manhattan Project were deployed. Three prime targets escaped damage, the U.S. Pacific Fleet aircraft carriers, the Lexington, Enterprise and Saratoga. They were not in the port when the attack took place. The attack was intented as a preventive action in order to keep the US Pacific fleet from interfering with military actions.
Being Justified or Getting Even?
Why we think Bombing Nagaski and Hiroshima was justified is because of all the tragic deaths and destruction to Pearl Harbor. The Japanese surprised attacked the Americans, killing many people also sinking many ships. By bombing Nagaski and Hiroshima I think it was good revenge to the Japanese because all during WWII they had caused so much havic with all the countries. The US and Japan had said to keep the peace, but on this particular attack it was planned months in advance. The US was simply getting even and doing what was best for their country. I think it was a good choice by Truman to drop these bombs on Japan because Japan could have kept attacking if they didn't put an end to it. During this time General McAuther was in charge of the troops. Midway was what ended the war because the US threatend them with our bombs. FDR calls this day at Pealr Harbor "a day we all live in imphamy".
Tuskegee Airman
Tuskegee Airmen were the first African Americans who played a significant role in American History.The base is located in Tuskegee, Alabama and they were the first African Americans who supported our country during war. This proved that African Americans were suited to fly planes. They werre sent into the most dangerous situations, only because of their skin color were they sent to these places. But when they saved our country people thought differently of them. They had a huge impact on these bombings and helping our country stay alive.
